JEFFREY A. REED MUSIC DIRECTOR Jeffrey A. Reed, music director and conductor, founded Orchestra Kentucky in 2000. Known for his unorthodox method of combining classical and popular music on the same program, Reed has overseen a one-thousand percent increase in subscriptions since the orchestra’s inaugural season.

	RANDY OLSON YOUTH ORCHESTRA CONDUCTOR Randy was born in Delaware, Ohio, and began violin studies with Howard Beebe at age six. Later teachers included Daniel Majeske, concertmaster of the Cleveland Orchestra, and Margaret Pardee, Sally Thomas, and Ivan Galamian of the Juilliard School.

	HELEN MOTTER YOUTH ORCHESTRA CONDUCTOR Helen is a founding member of Orchestra Kentucky and served as the concertmaster and a board member for four seasons. She has been involved with Orchestra Kentucky's Inside Music program and the Chamber Players and has taught violin privately for forty years.
